Text on back of card: Systrastapi - the rock mound west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. In 1186 a convent of the Benedictine order was established at Kirkjubæjarklaustur and flourished until 1550. The rock mound is said to be the burial site of two Benedictine sisters.
