Hengifoss Lóðr.

Text on back of card: Hengifoss, at 118 meters, is one of the highest waterfalls in Iceland. It is characterized by striking layers of red clay separating strata of basaltic lava. The area contains fossilized evidence of plants from the latter part of the Tertiary Period. Below Hengifoss a smaller waterfall, Litlanesfoss, is surrounded by beautiful basaltic pillars.
