Text on back of card: Opened in June 2004, the 5000 m² lagoon in Mývatn is filled with geothermal water rich in minerals, silica and blue green algae for a nourishing and rejuvenating bathing experience. The steam baths are built over fissures that allow pure and unpolluted steam to rise directly from its source.
